Mini Sudoku 6×6

The 6×6 sudoku is the intermediate variant between the 4×4 and the classic 9×9. The grid has 36 cells split into six 2×3 rectangular boxes, and is played with numbers 1 to 6. The rules are the same: every row, column and box must contain each number exactly once.

Why the 6×6 works so well

The 2×3 boxes (rather than 3×3 squares) introduce an asymmetry that changes how the brain looks for patterns: some 9×9 techniques apply directly, others behave differently. It's a great training ground to sharpen your eye before moving to the full grid.

Who it's for

Players who know the classic sudoku well but want a quicker variant to complete, and players bridging from 4×4 to 9×9 who want a progressive difficulty step.
